  1. Jan 29,  · I don't care about bonuses, the album is great. I was contemplating the deluxe release, but I'm very happy with the album itself (CD only with 5 hardly necessary bonus tracks). Very reasonable price as well. Sure, I forgot to mention To France (no question Maggie is the voice of Mike Oldfield in this era) but these are all really good songs/5().

  6. Typical of Alan Parsons Project albums is that there are different singers on different tracks; this is also the case with Discovery. The female sung Folk Pop of To France and Crystal Gazing remind me very much of Blackmore's Night. Discovery is almost a pure Pop album with only very little of Mike Oldfield's musical identity.

  9. Sure, Crises had Moonlight Shadow and a song featuring the great, mighty Jon Anderson. But in many ways, Discovery is a better album overall, with a better "mandatory" long instrumental and somewhat stronger song material. The record opens with To France, a quite gorgeous song and surely one of Oldfield's arovalbiotisy.curdlesusacmegajurelafuchtidis.costingly, the second side opener contains parts of it, making the album.
